Very close. The LED bars sit between the bench slats, so when you sit or lie on the bench your skin is about an inch (3 cm) from them. A wall-mounted panel is usually a few feet away, and light weakens quickly with distance.

SaunaCloud builds red light into the bench of any of its saunas: Atlas, Sierra, Atlas One and Atlas Outdoor. The red light bench measures under 1 mG under its stated test conditions, and the VantaWave® heaters average about 0.20 mG in the measured system. No powered device is truly zero-EMF, so compare readings taken at the same distance, load and frequency range, and ask us for the full report.

Yes. Any custom SaunaCloud can have red light in the bench, and we confirm the layout with you during design. A red light bench needs to be at least 22 inches deep so the 18.5-inch bars fit inside the frame.

Your proposal and electrical plans specify the dedicated 240V circuit or circuits your electrician runs before delivery; the Atlas One example uses one 240V / 30A circuit. The red light runs on low-voltage power from the sauna's own power supply, so it needs no extra circuit. A licensed electrician makes the final connection.

Residential coverage starts at final delivery: 7 years on VantaWave® heaters, 3 years on power, controls, and junction boxes, and 1 year on the red light system, lights, speakers, and covered accessories. Wood, labor, diagnosis, electrician costs, and replacement-part freight are not covered.
