Christopher Kiggins founded SaunaCloud in 2014 with a simple ambition: build infrared saunas around real rooms and real people. The dimensions, wood interior, heater layout, and everyday experience deserved to be considered together.
Christopher still leads every design. He wants you to see what is going into your home before you order, and he stays accountable for the details of the build.
In 2015, he wrote The Definitive Guide to Infrared Saunas to help people make sense of infrared heat and design a better room for it.

Christopher founded SaunaCloud in 2014 because a sauna deserved to be designed as a whole room, not assembled from a checklist of parts. He went on to write The Definitive Guide to Infrared Saunas in 2015. Today he brings that same curiosity to the wood-lined room, heater layout, and controls in each custom design.

We design VantaWave® heaters, CORE 5™ power delivery, printed circuit boards, Wi-Fi controls, and red light arrays to work together. That gives our team direct control over compatibility, testing, documentation, and support.
VantaWave® panels operate up to 190°F with a calculated thermal peak near 8 microns. The published full-system average magnetic-field reading is below 0.20 mG at the seated position while operating.
Clear solid wood, kiln-dried and hand-sorted, brings warmth and rich grain to the room. We shape the interior around your space, then match the heaters, controls, and installation plans to the custom design.
Nominal 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared LEDs are built into the wood bench, close to your skin. Choose heat, red light, or both through the same Wi-Fi control system, with no separate panel to set up.
