What Does a Limited Lifetime Sauna Warranty Mean?

“Limited lifetime warranty” doesn't mean every part is covered forever. It means SaunaCloud provides defined coverage for specific components against defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty periods listed on this page. The residential product lifetime is seven years from final delivery, but coverage varies by component. Wood is not covered.

Residential Sauna Warranty Coverage

Residential home sauna warranty coverage is based on normal private household use. All periods begin at final delivery. Residential coverage includes seven (7) years on infrared heaters, three (3) years on the power supply and controls, and one (1) year on lighting, speakers, and other covered accessories. Covered parts are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the periods below.

If a covered component fails because of a manufacturing defect during its warranty period, SaunaCloud provides the approved replacement part. Replacement-part shipping or freight, labor, service calls, diagnosis, and electrician costs are not covered.

What Is Typically Included in a Home Sauna Warranty?

Most home sauna warranties split coverage by category. As you compare brands, look for how each category is treated:

• Heaters — the largest cost driver and usually the longest-covered component.
• Controls and power supply — electronics that run the heating system and touch panel.
• Electrical components — wiring harnesses, sensors, and accessory connections.
• Audio, lights, and accessories — typically shorter coverage windows.

SaunaCloud's approach: heaters get the longest coverage (7 years), controls, power supply, and junction boxes get 3 years, covered accessory lights and speakers get 1 year, wood is not covered, and commercial installs are covered for 1 year on all covered parts. Labor and electrician fees are not included. That keeps the policy honest and predictable.

How Long Should an Infrared Sauna Last?

How long do infrared saunas last? A well-built unit that's installed properly, kept dry between sessions, cleaned gently, and used according to the manuals may remain serviceable for years. SaunaCloud defines expected residential product lifetime as seven years from final delivery. Durability depends on:

• Heater quality and how the panels are wired and mounted
• Electrical design and a clean dedicated circuit
• Wood stability — kiln-drying, milling tolerance, species choice
• Ventilation and moisture control in the room around the sauna
• Whether the sauna is being used residentially or commercially
• Owner care: keeping interior wood dry, wiping down benches, not power-washing

The warranty periods on this page reflect what SaunaCloud guarantees in writing. Actual service life varies and does not extend any stated warranty period.

If an Infrared Sauna Panel Is Not Working

If a heater or panel isn't producing heat, or a control isn't responding the way it should, the right next step isn't to start unscrewing anything — it's to capture a few details and contact support. Searching infrared sauna repair near me is rarely the right path, because most local electricians won't have the specific replacement parts.

• Check whether the issue affects one heater or panel or the whole sauna — that narrows the root cause quickly.
• Note any error messages on the touch control.
• Take photos or a short video so support can see what you're seeing.
• Use Owly in the customer portal first before attempting any repair.
• If the issue is covered, SaunaCloud provides infrared sauna replacement parts during the warranty period; replacement-part freight is not covered.
• Installation of the replacement part must be performed by a licensed electrician — this protects both you and the warranty itself.

Please don't open, modify, or rewire electrical components yourself. Unauthorized modifications void the warranty and create real safety risk.

Commercial Infrared Sauna Warranty: 1 Year

Commercial installations are covered for one (1) year from final delivery on infrared heaters, power supplies, controls, junction boxes, lighting, speakers, and other covered accessories. The red light therapy system is included at no additional charge as a complimentary bonus and is not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty. Repair or replacement of dedicated red light components is the customer's responsibility. Coverage for a shared power supply, control, or junction box remains subject to its stated warranty period. Wood is not covered by this written warranty. A commercial infrared sauna warranty applies any time the sauna is installed somewhere other than a private residence. That includes gyms, spas, wellness centers, hotels, short-term rental properties, medical and chiropractic offices, recovery and contrast-therapy studios, athletic training facilities, and similar high-use environments. SaunaCloud commercial infrared saunas have that coverage on all covered parts (heaters, power supply, digital controls, lighting, and speakers). Wood is not covered under the commercial warranty.

Commercial coverage is shorter than residential because commercial use is genuinely harder on a sauna — higher frequency, many different users, and operating conditions that residential units rarely see. The 1-year window reflects what we'll warranty in writing under those conditions.

What's Not Covered

To keep this warranty honest, the following are explicitly not covered:

• The red light therapy system is included at no additional charge as a complimentary bonus and is not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty. Repair or replacement of dedicated red light components is the customer's responsibility. Coverage for a shared power supply, control, or junction box remains subject to its stated warranty period.
• Water damage, flooding, excessive moisture, or outdoor exposure beyond the unit's intended use
• Improper installation
• Failure to follow electrical or installation requirements in the build documents
• Misuse, neglect, abuse, or unauthorized modifications
• Normal cosmetic changes in wood — color shift, grain movement, surface patina
• Labor, service calls, electrician fees, or diagnosis costs
• Replacement-part shipping or freight
• Wear from commercial or high-frequency use outside the stated commercial warranty terms
• Damage from moving, storage, or disassembly/reassembly after the initial install
• Outdoor roof assembly (covered separately under the 3-year roof warranty below)

Outdoor Sauna Roof Warranty: 3 Years

The roof assembly on SaunaCloud outdoor saunas is covered by a separate 3-year limited warranty from final delivery against defects in materials and workmanship of the roof structure and weatherproofing. Normal wear from UV exposure, wind, and weather is not covered. Periodic re-sealing of exterior wood surfaces is the owner's responsibility.

• Clear description of the issue
• Photos or short video if possible
