With the rapid approach of the holiday’s overindulging will likely be a problem. It’s bad enough that our environment assaults us with over 700 poisons daily. Adding insult to injury when we gather with family and friends we also tend to overeat and enjoy too many adult beverages. As I get older my body is unable to filter whatever poisons I enjoyed the evening before. However, I have discovered yet another great use for my Far Infrared sauna; cure for the occasional overindulgence. After all, when you’ve had too much fun the night before there’s nobody to blame but yourself. This makes it even worse. The after-effects of overeating and drinking too much alcohol can be both physiological and psychological and are usually experienced the morning after a night of moderate to heavy imbibing. However, when I take a half hour Far Infrared sauna I feel better due to the fact that I am able to move all those toxins out efficiently.
Everyone experiences different side effects when overindulging. Common symptoms include accelerated heartbeat, anxiety, body pain, dizziness, bad breath, headache, lethargy, nausea, photophobia, sensitivity to loud sounds, irritability, fatigue, stomach ache, erratic motor functions and vomiting. However, just in case you forget that promise here’s a great idea how to limit the inevitable discomfort the following day.

I only spent thirty minutes inside but after a good sauna session and hot shower I actually felt better. I am grateful I was able to relieve most of my symptoms with a Far Infrared sauna session. When the body is heated, toxins, are released. Using Far Infrared heat, for about twenty to thirty minutes, is a superior way to rid the body of excess toxins from a specific source or just the many other toxins already within. Keeping your core body temperature elevated even for only thirty minutes actually supports your immune system, as well.

Its always a good idea to stay hydrated when you’ve eaten too much or simply had too much to drink. Best to drink lots of clean water before during and after your Far Infrared sauna session as it will keep you from becoming dehydrated. Afterward drink a nice cup of hot tea or eat some chicken soup; always a good choice when not feeling well!
