Are there glues used in infrared saunas?

Yes, but it’s safe (and necessary)!

Are there glues used in infrared saunas?

Most infrared saunas do use glues to hold the cedar tongue and groove sections together as well as their wood frames. If you speak with any woodworker worth their salt, they will tell you it’s borderline impossible to do amazing woodworking without glue.

We use a non-VOC glue made by Titebond very sparingly inside of the sauna. It is a woodworker’s glue that is very safe to use in a sauna–you can even eat it.

Make sure you know that the glue that is used is safe in your sauna.

I am glad infrared saunas have developed the way they have, because I couldn’t imagine my life without the benefits they provide, like deep sleep, lower blood pressure, less joint pain, weight loss, and a boosted immune system. Here at SaunaCloud I sell saunas that are some of the best history has offered. My far infrared saunas use advanced ceramic-carbon combination heaters for an amazing sauna experience.
